Mini Roses
The cream mini roses are about to pop. Another success story, I purchased three pots of mini roses at the grocery store, two summers ago. We divided them, and planted a border - the three pots yielded about 17 individual plants.

are these the tiny roses usually given as a gift on Mothers day?I just got word from a friend that she planted hers outside and the blooms doubled in size.
Yes, that's what they are. They usually come in a single pot, with a bunch of plants packed together. Just separate the plants, and you get an instant rose garden. These have been extremely reliable, and this year, each plant is about 12 ins. high. And, yes, the blooms are much larger than on the tiny potted plants.
